A quiet space
to be understood.
You may have arrived here with questions: What a session looks like, what it costs, or how long this process takes. The information below is here to offer clear, honest answers, so you can decide whether this feels like the right place for you.
Therapy is meant to fit into your life, not add stress to it.
What to Expect from Sessions
Individual counseling sessions are typically 50 minutes. If you're working through something that requires more time, longer sessions may be available for an additional fee.
Couple’s sessions are 60 minutes, and sessions with (3+) are scheduled accordingly.
A question I hear often is, "How long will I be in therapy?" The honest answer is that it depends. Your experience is unique, and the length of therapy is influenced by your goals, the challenges you're working through, your motivation for change, and the work you do between sessions.
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach or requiring clients to follow a set schedule. Therapy should support your life, not become another source of pressure. Whether you're looking for short-term or longer-term support, we'll work together to find a pace and frequency that feels right for you.
Virtual Sessions
Life doesn't always make it easy to come into the office. That's why I offer secure virtual sessions for clients who prefer to meet from home or need a little more flexibility during particularly busy or difficult weeks. My goal is to make therapy as accessible and supportive as possible, wherever you are.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, may be subject to the full session fee. I understand emergencies happen and will always take unexpected circumstances into consideration.
Investment in Your Care…
Investing in therapy is an investment in yourself, and I believe the financial side of the process should be just as clear and straightforward as the care you receive.
At this time, Rooted Therapy Collective is an out-of-network private practice and does not bill insurance directly. Choosing to remain out of network allows me to focus on your unique needs rather than insurance requirements, treatment limitations, or the need to share personal information with a third-party payer. It also provides greater flexibility in creating a treatment plan that's centered on you.
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, I'm happy to provide a superbill, a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. While reimbursement varies by plan, many clients are able to recover a portion of their therapy costs. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to learn more about your specific benefits before your first appointment.
Payment is due at the time of each session. I accept HSA and FSA cards, all major credit and debit cards, and other secure digital payment methods. If my rates change in the future, you'll always receive at least two weeks' notice before any adjustment.
If you have questions about fees, out-of-network benefits, or what to expect before getting started, I'm always happy to help. My goal is to make the process feel simple, transparent, and welcoming from the very beginning.
