Session Information
What to Expect from Sessions:
Individual counseling sessions typically last 50 minutes. If you’re experiencing something more significant and feel you need more time, you may request a longer session for an additional fee. Couples sessions are one hour long, and family sessions (for three or more people) are scheduled with that in mind.
Some people ask how long they’ll be in counseling. That really depends on several factors, including your goals, the complexity of what you’re working through, how much time and effort you’re putting in outside of session, and your personal motivation to make changes. I take a no-pressure approach to therapy and don’t require clients to stick to a fixed schedule. This process is meant to fit into your life—not add stress to it. The amount of time you invest in therapy is different for everyone and should reflect what works best for you.
Session Fees & Payment:
At this time, I do not accept insurance. One of the benefits of this is that I don’t have to assign a diagnosis or submit any information to an insurance company. This helps protect your privacy and gives us more freedom in how we approach counseling.
Current session rates are:
Individual sessions – $100
Couples sessions – $125
Family sessions (three or more people) – $140
I accept HSA cards, credit/debit cards, and other digital payment methods. Rates are subject to change, but I will always provide at least two weeks’ notice before any increase.
Virtual Options & Cancellations:
I offer telehealth sessions through a secure platform for those who prefer virtual therapy or cannot attend in person.
